How are the stitches set on a sewing machine?
Consult your manual for how to do this on your machine. On this machine, stitches are set by rotating the lower knob on the right side of the machine until it clicks into place. Always set the stitch with the needle up and out of the fabric, since it may move the needle. A straight stitch is used to sew most seams.
